'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League return

Kane celebrates his century goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has declared that his desire in coming back to the Premier League has faded and he is open to discuss a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is currently halfway through the four-year contract he agreed to when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the transfer window of 2023.

The veteran forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German team, playing a key role in them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which was the initial important trophy of his distinguished career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has previously stated that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he needs 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring milestone of 260.

However, the England captain has now clarified that he is no longer as eager about returning home as he previously was, and would certainly think about prolonging his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could absolutely see that," he remarked.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so goes and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have learned in my career is that different chances and different moments happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the historic top scorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the speediest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five leagues, reaching the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had eluded him until he lifted the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would feel after overcoming his trophy barren spell, but now believes it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."

Future Prospects

  • Continued success with Bayern Munich stays Kane's main focus
  • The chance of a Premier League return has considerably decreased
  • New contract talks could commence in the upcoming future
  • Kane's outstanding goal-scoring record continues to amaze
